Let's see, I moved here in 1993 from a hospital in Rhode Island. I had hit a "bottom" and tried to commit suicide. At the time I was fully into my trip of addiction. But I couldn't stay "clean" where I was living, b-cuz everyone living in that house in was using. So when I got out of that house and with my mother, I finally really got clean (no, not "SOBER" in NA. . . So now its been over 15 years and life is "do-able".I'm in a committed relationship with a beautiful Brazilian woman. Been to Brazil two times now and absolutely LOVE the country, but ADORE her family!!
Interests
I'm still in Narcotics Anonymous doing well, certainly better than if I were out there still using. I have two beautiful daughters, 23 and 28. One's in grad school and the other is shall I say, working, but between jobs, so to speak. I have a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and am also an LPN. My passion, my ULTIMATE dream is to become a mental health/ addictions counselor, because I've LIVED all those things, and could do those this with a HEART, and experience . . .
